I’m Carly — a Wamba Wamba woman, mum, primary school teacher and yoga teacher.
I honour my Elders and ancestors, whose stories, strength, wisdom and presence continue to shape how I live, practise and share yoga.
Movement and strength first drew me to yoga, but I stayed for the connection and self-awareness. I started with strong, fast-flowing practices, loving the challenge and connection to my body and breath. Through life's challenges I found my way to a more restorative approach — one that invites deep listening, presence and rest.
Yoga has taught me to slow down, listen deeply, and love and care for myself. It has taught me self-compassion, patience, and that I am enough.
I’m grateful for the teachings of yoga, Indigenous to the peoples of South Asia, and for the teachers and generations who have carried them forward. I’m forever a student, learning, listening and returning to the heart of yoga.
My classes create space to slow down, breathe and reconnect to yourself, to community and to this moment.
